Passing B2Bi Process data to SCC

SCC currently can import a single item from B2Bi Process Data. However, with the use of an Xpath statement multiple process data items can be concatenated into a single string item with optional delimiters or other markers. Sadly, SCC does not have the capability of parsing the various parts of the string to retrieve the Process data items.

The enhancement being requested here is to add a bit more utility to the metadata rules and actions as follows:

Pass in some number of Business Process data items into one string as is currently done so that SCC will have an internal variable in a form such as TrackingID;DataDirection;ProcessNO; etc.

Create a metadada rule that will call up a metadata action if the rule is matched or triggered

In the metadata action add the capability of assigning parts of the process data string to USERDATA1, 2, 3 or 4. At present only the entire string can be assigned to a metadata item. What is needed is a regex capability so that the action can assign the results of a regex expression applied to the string, for instance USERDATA1 gets assigned the TrackingID portion of the passed in string in the previous example.
