Purpose field in pick request is only allows two values SALE and TRANSFER, we need more values - REPLACEMENT, PICKUP. This will help store to differentiate what type of PICK request. We need purpose field value to be supported in pick preferences API as well.

Bin assignment during WALK_IN order Pick, we would like to exclude the REPLACEMENT bins. We want to change the pick preference of walk in not have access to bin where replacement items are kept only way we can achieve this is by having a separate purpose field, but it only support SALES and TRANSFER for this reason we need a new purpose field.

    Hi Jason,

    Currently we configure pick preferences based on the delivery method. so we need purpose filed as differentiator to differentiate WALK_IN and REPLACEMENT orders which have same delivery Method.

    Our engineering team suggested using the reference field to capture the details of Replacement and Pick Up. Please evaluate if the workaround works for you.

    Purpose field is present in pickRequestCreated and pickRequestCompleted pubsub messages and also in pick request summary whenever we are invoking through API tester. We do have pick preference API with purpose field as null, we need ability to add pick preference with purpose field this will help us to exclude replacement bins for the WALK_IN and BOPIS order.
