Allow user-directed node selection on order edit in the BUC module

The module must have the capability for a user with the proper permissions to manually select a specific node to assign and fulfill an order/line from.

How will this idea be used?

In a scenario where there are many nodes able to fulfill an order/line, such as ship-from-store, the order/line could be rejected by multiple nodes/stores despite showing ATP (reject due to capacity or incorrect on-hand). The order/line should not continue on a perpetual reassignment loop to next, next node and instead come to a halt for user intervention, as long as there is ATP in the network. The intervening user should then direct the order/line to a specific node for fulfillment.

    Hi, thank you for your idea. Today in BUC, you can configure SLA risk & progress risk alerts to identify orders that could be stuck in a reassignment loop. From there, you can manually assign the orders to a specific node using the App Console tool.

    We plan to build this manual node assignment capability into BUC as well. This is targeted for Q3 2020.
