Add the ability to SFG to set data limits that a producer partner can send into SFG. The policy should be able to set for SFG partner groups, and work regardless of method or protocol used to add the data. For example, data arriving via SFTP, Connect:Direct, MyFilegateway upload, or business process mailbox add feature should all be covered by the policy and allow us to restrict the total amount of data being added to a partner.
We should have the ability to choose whether the restriction applies collectively for all members of the group, or applies individually to each member of the group. For example, we may want to create a partner group in SFG called "collective9GB" and put 3 partners in the group. Then set a policy that allows 9GB daily volume collectively for that group. If the 3 partners each send 3 GB to SFG, or one of the partners sends 9GB to SFG, all 3 partners would be restricted from adding any more data that day.
I may want to create a partner group called "individual1GB" and put 3 partners in the group. Then set a policy that allows 1GB daily volume for individuals in that group. If one of the partners sends 1GB to SFG, that partner would be restricted from adding any more data for that day, but the other partners in the group may continue to send data until they reach the 1GB limit.
If a partner is in more than one group and is covered by several policies, the largest data volume collective policy that applies to the partner, and the largest data volume individual policy that applies to the partner, should both be applied to determine the restrictions. In this way, we can use the all partners group to apply a policy that limits all the individual partners to a small volume, such as 1 GB, and we can apply another policy to a subset group that gives a greater volume of data transmission capability to that subset of partners who may need to send more data.
