Sterling File Gateway needs a "Retrieved File" or "Downloaded File" view similar to the existing "Arrived File" view to provide visibility and search capability into downloaded files for Producers, Consumers, and Admins. Example cases for each:
1) SI/SFG Admin users would obviously benefit most from this functionality immediately to help answer the question of "Where's my file?" and "Did my partner download the file I sent?" However, self-service functionality is always beneficial and an industry differentiator in most spaces.
2) Producers of files might like to know if/when their consumer partner downloads the file they previously uploaded to their mailbox. This helps answer the question "Did my partner get my file?"
3) Consumers might want to know if a file has been downloaded previously from a mailbox, so that a second copy isn't downloaded and re-processed. This answers the question "Did I already get this file?"
This is a perfect opportunity for a UI enhancement(s) to provide a searchable "view" into files that aren't being pushed to a listening consumer, but are left in the mailbox for consumer users to initiate the consumption of said files at a later time. I'm not aware of any other readily available interface that captures this information currently, hence submitting this Request for Enhancement.
