We need some method to test a configured SEAS engine before integrating it with the rest of our environment. Currently we can only test it by pointing SSP to the new engine and attempting to log in. This means that we can't test the SEAS config in isolation, and if anything fails we have to check multiple components to confirm whether the failure was because of SEAS or something else.
It would be ideal to have some method (either a script or a webservice/API) we could use to pass a username and password/ssh key to that would let us test our configured profiles directly through SEAS
How will this idea be used?
As a Sterling administrator i need to be able to properly test new SEAS engines before integrating them with the rest of our Sterling environment. We need to be able to provide credentials directly to SEAS using a webservice or script and test our authentication profiles directly to confirm their proper functionality.
