Support First Time Password change between SSP/SEAS and B2Bi managed user accounts and subsequent password change should be allowed via SSP password portal to change the B2Bi password through SEAS.

What is your industry? Aerospace & Defense
How will this idea be used?

External trading partners are created in B2Bi with local authentication, that means the password is stored in B2Bi database; Security mandates that the default password on the first login should be changed by external trading partners; Add ability to SEAS to understand the response from B2Bi and then provide it back to SSP so SSP redirects to the change password screen. If the changed password does not meet the password policy set in the B2Bi, password change should fail and request the user to reset the password again.

Also, security mandates to change the password every 180 days thereafter; We have created a password policy in B2Bi to force the above security mandate. When user login to the SSP portal need the ability to show that "your password will expire in X days". Also if the password is already expired then able to understand the same and redirect the user to the change password screen. If the changed password does not meet the password policy set in the B2Bi, password change should fail and request the user to reset the password again. Adding these functionalities into the product helps to meet the security mandates without a huge manual effort.
