Capability to post Dynamic HTTP/s Url Merged

We received a client request to generate dynamic HTTPs URL.

This URL will be generated based on value coming in input file.

And client just expects HTTPs post (without any attachment)

For Example:

URL will be : https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/3322070/o16hhjn?PHONE=1234567890&ORDER=987654321

Where "https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/3322070/o16hhjn?"

is fixed URL

And we have to pick ORDER Number and Phone Number from input file

PHONE=1234567890&ORDER=987654321 Then IBM performs a HTTPs post to this URL (without any attachment)

From my previous experience I know that Sterling Integrator as standalone application is capable of achieving this request.

But as confirmed by our L2/L3 team this feature is currently not enabled under SCBN.

Hence my request is to enable this feature.

How this can be achieved:

1. We can build dynamic URL in map level or rule level by passing it to process data using some processing flag. System then picks this URL and perform HTTPs post. This will be similar to how we pass destination file name, reference number etc values in process data.

2. We can build a business process to run a java/Python code to achive this request as well. But we will need L2/L3 assistance to add this BP. Kindly let me know if more details are needed from my side.

Partner is using third party application Zapier (its automation tool)

which accepts dynamic URL post and then convert it into text message and delivers it to partner.

Client claims that they will onboard more partner using this flow.

Hence its a useful feature to add to SCBN.
