Enable client certificate authentication configuration in Inflight for HTTPs Setup

HTTPs allows both Basic Authentication and Client certificate authentication.Inability of setting up client certificate authentication in SCBN for HTTPs is upsetting the client who prefers to have one connection setup against multiple , potentially impacting other TP onboarding for this client via SCBN.  Also, This requirement may come in from other SCBN customers which will be really helpful.

How will this idea be used?

Provide dropdown/checkin in Inflight UI while creating HTTPs setup to allow Client certificate Authentication. This will help in faster turn around and avoid time taken to create multiple basic authentication profiles.

    Hi Jim,

     

    The implementation was completed using a work around.

    As Client certificate authentication is a feature supported by the HTTPs protocol, It will be essential to have this supported by GIODE given more number of trading partners adding to our system and the probability of getting this request is high.

    Hi Jim,

     

    As a workaround the protocol POD UI was used to manually update this particular HTTP relationship Transport settings to use client certificate authentication. We did receive similar request from other customers. Having this feature available in Inflight UI as a drop down to select client authentication will make things much simpler.

    Dinesh - We are getting back in and reviewing this. Given the time that has elapsed, I wanted to check to see if this was still an issue for this client or has the implementation been completed?

    Also, have any other customers indicated a desire for this type of capability?
