Request For Enhancement :To filter out maps by names while creating ST/UNH envelopes

While on-boarding partners to our SCBN platform we need to create/modify envelopes in SPE02/Config Centre and deploy maps in them to achieve data translation. For example for an ANSI X12 EDI message we need to create ST envelope and point out the map in it for data translation. Currently the SPE02 interface lists as a drop down all the maps for that particular pod or customer when we try to point to a particular map and in that drop down list we need to locate the only map we need to point to which is tedious task and time consuming. For example client like Ceva where there are a huge number of maps in the drop down. This can be applied to EDIFACT and TRADACOMS EDI envelopes as well when we are trying to point out a map.

Instead of a drop down list if we can have a filter in the ST/UNH envelope where we can search the map with its name directly as it would be already deployed and existing in the pod. With the name we can directly find the map we need to point to and we do not have to go through all the maps to search and identify through the drop down list.

How will this idea be used?

As part of the Watson Customer Engagement Team we are working on on-boarding partners for our clients into SCBN solution .This idea would simply the solution of on-boarding and can also act well if clients are using self-service to create new envelopes and point maps to accommodate translation for their data.
