After 5 days much data/information related to translations is purged from GIODE. This keeps the system uncluttered, but means if a 997 is returned after 5 days the corresponding IDOC info cannot be found and we get a red light for a SAPSTAT. Now we know the data isn't temporarily unavailable it is permanently unavailable. Is there a way to improve the message displayed in this instance so the customer can self-service and not need to involve IBM and have delays in answers.
