PEM-Notification email required before password expiration for PEM login

Currently PEM users are not receiving any email notifications before the password expiration . If we can setup an email notifications to be sent to users before password expiration.

What is your industry? Financial Markets
How will this idea be used?

If we have an email notification to be sent to user before password expiration that would be great user experience because currently in PEM all partners login, admin logins can be considered as users. PEM cannot differentiate users based on roles.

    Hi Greg,

As discussed on previous call, we agreed to move this enhancement request to planned for future release. And also please provide us the SSO documentation when you get a chance.

    Hello Greg,

Is there any other way we can send reminders to users in PEM before password expiry ? Please confirm.

Based on our plans for SSO, I am moving this to not under consideration since as we move forward, we expect more customers to start managing through SSO rather than setting up separate usernames and passwords specific to PEM.

    Steven,

For the upcoming release, we would be relying on the SSP authentication. So the username used for SSP would be the one that would validate for PEM as well. If SI is also relying on SSP for its authentication, then the authentication for PEM and SI would be the same.

Let me know if we need to discuss this one further.

While there is a benefit to introduce this suggestion if customers were still going to use a separate PEM username and password, we are moving away from password management and relying on SSP/SEAS as a more future vision.

    Hi Greg,

We believe for SSO implementation userid/loginID should be same for SI and PEM but in our case SI username differs from PEM username. So still SSO can be implemented ?

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Steven,

I am assuming that the password expiration is for the PEM passwords. With the introduction of support for single sign-on for customers using SSP/SEAS, more of this will be able to be controlled through a customer's identity management solutions.

With SSO introduction, management of passwords for PEM access will become less common. Will Equifax be taking advantage of SSO when it is introduced?
