UCD Self Status / SST Final Status of a process to reflect the success / failure of underlying action.

Following on from Shop Direct SF ticket TS002163187, the CDT 'Import CDT' process was failed because of a known failure issue regarding PLT_PROPERTY and PLT_PROPERTY_METADATA being Append Only. The UCD process expected this failure of the called CDT import, so did not end with a 'failed' status. Please could we make sure that the UCD Self Serv (and SST) process refects the success / failure of the intended goal of the process, and not that the actual logic and acceptance of the process is to allow a failed goal, but a successful UCD / SST process. This 'success' status is misleading to S Teams and customers alike. Their desired result has not completed, and is therefore is a failed task.

How will this idea be used?

This gives an absolute indication of the success / failure of the actual desired goal, and not a status based on what UCD Self Serv / SST process will allow and accommodate. A process should be failed status if the desired goal has not been achieved.
