Pricing Rule Configuration along with Payment Type selected so that the pricing rule gets triggered only when certain payment is entered

Based on Payment Types Pricing Rules need to be applied. This is required for Business as they can have Corporate Payment Types used to define various pricing.

TS001167891 - have more details.

We are trying to setup a pricing rule along with payment type selected so that the pricing rule gets triggered only when certain payment is entered. For e.g. discount of $2 on item 594162 should be added on the order only when the payment type is selected as 'Pay on Delivery'.

While creating an order, after entering the payment type the discount amount is not added. However, navigating back to 'Fulfillment Summary' screen and coming to payment summary triggered repricing and then discount got applied. However, the expectation is that the discount should get applied once payment is entered.
