Enhancing monitoring rules

Order monitoring rules should be based on the combination of count of orders in a particular status for a period of time. This will help to monitor the orders when an agent is not working fine or a technical glitch in the system and can react and fix the issues

Below are few use cases

GIVEN:There are multiple order cancellations

WHEN:there is incorrect inventory or systematic issues

THEN:Operations team will be alerted when number of order cancellations become 20 in last 1 hour

GIVEN: There are multiple orders in backorder status

WHEN: there is incorrect inventory or systematic issues

THEN: Operations team will be alerted when number of orders in backorder-ed status reaches 20 in last 1 hour

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

This Idea will be used to monitor the orders and react if there is an inventory issue or there are technical glitches

I have updated the usecases for clarity. The monitoring OOTB is for each order which is the order monitoring but the request of enhancement is status monitoring. i.e. if a status has X #of orders in last Y hours raise an alert

One can configure Order Monitoring rules to notify if an Order remains in the same status for 'X' amount of time.
