Disable inventory safety factor on distribution group level

Currently, there is no option to ignore inventory safety factor when set on node level and configured in global inventory visibility. The option to disable safety factors on distribution group level would be beneficial in order to be able to monitor multiple distribution groups where some need to consider safety factors and some do not.

Example:

Activity based availability monitor needs to monitor e-commerce online availability (DG1) and physical store availability (DG2).

DG1 needs to consider safety factors (Display inventory available to source from physical store location)

DG2 does not need to consider safety factors (Display full inventory available in store)

    Hi Mikko,

Thanks for reaching out to IBM for your query and idea.

DG level rule-based safety stock feature is available in IV. We wish you to have a look at the feature and see it suffices your need.

IBM prefers customers to choose new age inventory visibility and monitoring solution.

Please let me know if any queries.

    regards,
