ITX should be system aware with regard to the 'Native' Data language (i.e. code page) for non-Unicode applications, not hard coded to ISO-8859-1 on Windows machines.

How will this idea be used?

Currently ITX is inappropriately dropping characters in XML to X12 EDI maps because of the hard coded assumption about the 'Native' code page of the machine on which the map is being executed.

This change would prevent characters from being inappropriately discarded during map execution.
