Merged idea

This idea has been merged into another idea. To comment or vote on this idea, please visit ITX-I-152 Alternative to +SETALL permissions requirement on IBM MQ Adapter connections using -EQN.

Option to create persistence IBM MQ message without message descriptor Merged

Objective - Create IBM MQ message with persistence flag = 1 to a queue where 'Default Persistence' attribute set to 'Not Persistence'

The only option available is to use MessageDescriptor which is complex.

Requesting enhancement in the order of preference

  1. Command line option (like _MID, -CID etc.,)

  2. In dtx.ini

  3. As install option for IBM MQ adapter

We are in process of implementing RDMQ for IBM MQ high availability and Loosing messages during queue manager fail over.

    Yes, I agree the enhancement request. We should be using entire MQ header type tree to just set persistent property.

    It should be like any other command line option similar to -T
