How will this idea be used?
When applications are built with ITX SDK i.e. to execute a ITX map , GET ITX map settings , Generate trace file and so on we experience inconsistency in error handing.
Example calling the ITX SDK with corrupt map or a map that was complied in a very old version would cause the application to crash with a memory segmentation fault.
The error is more specific to Linux environment and is handled as expected in Windows.
There should be a consistent way of handling such anomalies and irrespective of the environment , any error scenario should be handled and should not cause the application to crash.
