ITXA - Expose as GUI configuration element (or similar) common X12 and EDIFACT standard deviations that require type tree changes. For example, non-standard delimiters. Applies to ITXA X12 and EDIFACT validation maps as well as X12 and EDIFACT mapping inside ITX.

Supporting a set of common deviations from ANSI mapping standards would increase solution flexibility and make ITX/ITXA more appealing to customers as it would more readily adapt to their specific business needs.

How will this idea be used?

Companies often need to make modifications to maps outside of ANSI standards to accommodate the needs of their trading community.  As acknowledged by the Product Managers for both ITX and ITXA, this is fairly commonplace.  Having this capability will make it much simpler to adapt to trading community mapping requirements.
