Inventory Visibility Service | Event Publish | Reservation Event

We would need to use the node level reservation event message to create activity for RTAM to consider this reservation for publishing to all consumers of the inventory.

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

We will use this event to create activity for RTAM to consider this reservation for publishing to all consumers of the inventory.

All event supports reserved quantity withheld and is triggered by supply/demand/reservation.

Adding more comments from the customer for this idea -

Adidas is not able to go live with the availability change event publish from IV to UBX due to this.  Their main business benefit for adopting IV was to prevent overselling across multiple selling channels - marketplace, retail, and ecommerce. They are implementing IV to get a real time picture of the availability across channels for high velocity and high demand items.

If IV does not publish an availability change on reservations, then the root problem of overselling that they have is not getting solved using IV.

Adidas has ecommerce selling channel that is querying IV in real time for correct availability and the remaining channels(marketplace, retail) where the real time availability changes are being published to as a push model.

hence, it is absolutely required that all channels get intimated on any availability change, whether its from a reservation, or a demand change, or a supply change.

The requirement is to have an availability change event published for any supply, demand, or reservation change.
