Provide additional information when Session High Water Mark is reached

For Product id 5665-X09, record the number of active PRIMARY (PNODE) sessions and the number of active SECONDARY (SNODE) sessions when the session high water mark is reached. Record as much additional information as is reasonably possible in the session highwater SMF record, but at minimum, record the NUMBER of active primary & secondary sessions. We can use the information to manage and maintain our MAXPRIMARY & MAXSECONDARY parameters. Additionally, provide a way to report a high water mark for the max active primary sessions and the high water mark for the max active secondary sessions. Ideally, the SMF record should contain and identify the names of the active processes at the time the highwater mark is hit.

Thank you for your patience as we worked on this enhancement request.  I'm pleased to announced that we releases v6.0 on 12/7/18 which includes enhancements to our tracking of high water mark activity.  I've included a brief description of the enhancement below and would invite you to download the latest version to explore other enhancements that were also made.

    • An enhanced SESSION.HIGHWATER.SMF support to enhance monitoring and recording of Session Highwater mark by generating SMF data with additional data about the Connect:Direct environment and recording within the Connect:Direct Statistics facility.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
