Cryptographic function used for TLS certificates storage should use SHA-384 or SHA-512 or POLY-1305

CA Certificates, Key Certificates and Private Keys are stored in key database file cdkeystore.kdb + STH file. In addition software stores the key database password in .keystore file and passphrase to the private key in .password file in C:\Program Files\ibm\Connect Direct v6.3.0\Server\Secure+\Nodes using IBM proprietary SPE2 (Strong Password Encryption 2) algorithm. The key database file are encrypted and overall file integrity is assured by a HMAC-SHA-1 hash of the entire file contents. The secrecy method used is PKCS #12 Password Based Encryption with SHA-1 and 3-key Triple DES CBC, which is defined by Algorithm Object Identifier (OID) 1.2.840.113549.1.12.1.3 The algorithm used in this scheme is described in the RFC’s for PKCS#12 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7292) and also PKCS#5 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2898).

Cryptographic functions used for all certificates and private keys in key database and also for key db password in .keystore file should use SHA-384 or SHA-512 or POLY-1305.
