The 832 is a catalog and pricing file that's sent from the supplier to the customer, enabling the customer to load that data into their system so that they can order the products from the supplier via EDI. It is directly related to the Order to Cash process.
How will this idea be used?
Oftentimes we send an 832 to a trading partner, and they have some issue loading it into their system. We need to examine the data in the file to determine the cause of the problem, or to verify that certain items were included in the file.
