Document Configuration (CGS) for the 856 needs to include the HL (O) Order level to locate detail line item information

BTI expects the SN1 segment to be included with the HL Item level data, which is per standards. There is a trading partner situation where the SN1 segment is included in the HL Order level data. This trading partner, Ship data configuration will not link back to the purchase order line items. Therefore, line item information cannot display under the Ship Milestone Line Item view; only the disclaimer message: Oops! We can't display line items for this document is displayed. Using Document Configuration (CGS) would resolve the situation, but it does not include the HL Order level for locating detail item data (the SN1 segment is required for the ship line item to link back to the purchase order line item).

The current Document Configuration (CGS) allows for deviation of standards, for item detail, within the HL levels: Item, Tare, Pack, and Subpack.

How will this idea be used?

All SCBN clients will benefit from adding the HL Order level, to CGS as a choice for locating required data for BTI purposes. Customers want to see line item data and NOT a disclaimer message.
