Import/Export REST API

Would like to integrate with other change management software to facilitate the export and import of resources between SI instances.

What is your industry? Automotive
How will this idea be used?

Auditors do not like that people who make the changes can be the people who install the changes. They want an automated process that takes control of moving the resources into a change management group. Currently we have change release software that can use API's to facilitate moving of resources but SI has no facility to do it. Change management group wants to use 1 tool for import/exports and do not want to log into individual systems, as that will cause more work on their part.
