Install/Upgrade of 6.x currently requires that you install a MQ separately. Versions of B2BI previous to 6.x auto installed ActiveMQ - hassle free. Now that the MQ is not auto installed, you have to choose a 3rd party MQ (or use IBM MQ) and figure out installation on your own which includes a variety of customer_overrides and MQ tie-ins. In the event of an upgrade from 5.2.x with adapter containers, you have to remove adapter containers, then upgrade, then install the MQ, then re-create the adapter containers (Per IBM support).
It would be really nice for the customer if IBM provided an option during the installation/upgrade process - Automatically install IBM MQ with your install/upgrade (Y/N)? or a checkbox.
If Yes then the installation process should auto install IBM MQ with 6.x, taking care to capture existing adapter container configurations and and re-create as needed.
If No, then the customer will install their own MQ and take care of the process manually.
How will this idea be used?
During installation/upgrade routine (via installation manager). Will make install/upgrade process more seamless and user-friendly to customer who generally performs installs/upgrades once every few years.
