We use DMI events to write to an external log that our security team uses to track file movement. When a file is renamed or deleted and the file path + name is greater than 100 characters, we lose part of the critical information used to track what file was deleted or the original and new filename when a file is renamed.
For reference, this enhancement is a result of CASE TS002090066 and the response from the IBM support engineer was "I did received confirmation that this behavior is by design. Non-Transfer events such as move/delete are limiting the file-name to 100 chars. We tested the same in 126.96.36.199 to confirm this and verified in the ACT_NON_XFER table the VALUE column is defined as VARCHAR(100). So, the application is restricting the filepath to 100 characters."
