The Global Mailbox implementation in Sterling B2B Integrator does not allow creation of new event rules or updating existing event rules (i.e. CRUD functionality for event rules) using an API. This means that one time creation of hundreds of event rules (for the thousands of mailboxes to be migrated) and the ongoing creation / update of event rules (for new customer onboarding post go-live) will require manual intervention of using GM UI.
How will this idea be used?
We need to migrate about 20,000 mailboxes from the legacy platform and also need to on-board mailboxes on a daily basis, which requires a set of APIs to perform the operations on the event rules as needed.
