SI and MEFG compatibility on RHEL 7.x paltform in order to support mandatory upgrade of SWIFT 7.2 release

System: ISBI-SWIFT FOR CORPORATES (Sterling Intergrator 5.2.3, Sterling File Gateway 2.2.3)
Actor: Customer/Backoffice applications/RA/MEFG/SAG/SWIFT

SWIFT had announced a mandatory upgrade to the underlying technology behind SWIFT's interface products with a new release 7.2, which will be available in March 2017 and must be installed by June 2018 to ensure that all the applications having SWIFT services are uninterrupted.

The preliminary release overview documents for Alliance gateway 7.2 can be found on swift portal at below link

Alliance 7.2 Link: https://www2.swift.com/uhbonline/books/protected/en_uk/al_7_2_prel_rel_ov/index.htm

Based on the above link documentation, we have found the below dependency for the upgrade of SAG / RA 7.2 for the RHEL OS.

- Red Hat does not provide an upgrade path from RHEL 6.x to RHEL 7.x

So, it seems one must upgrade all SWIFT connecting applications to RHEL 7.x before proceeding SAG / RA 7.2 upgrade
