The SI Server Adapters do not have a way to selectively ignore logging TCP Load Balancer Health Checks, which occur quite frequently in a highly available environment, and for some adapters, generate copious amounts of logs. If you are unable to see desirable logging messages for particular server adapters, you must enable higher logging levels. Enabling non-ERROR levels of adapter logging increases log sizes dramatically if there is a load balance health check pointed to the adapter, and even more so if a multi-line exception or stack trace is thrown for each load balancer attempt.
For this RFE, I'm recommending that the SI Server Adapters be given a configuration parameter similar to that in SSP which allows admins to choose to ignore logging of connections from a particular source address(es) for the purpose of load balancing. I would like to see the Connect:Direct Server/Receiver Adapters get this option first.
