This insert stmt in the table Document, database GIS, is taking around 50% of server resources some days.
On the Insert statement, as you can see bellow, there are 7 variables that are using a varchar() data type.
The table Document is using only nvarchar() data types for character columns.
Due to the data types differences, Sql Server will do an internal conversion during the Insert operation.
The internal conversion slows down the Insert.
We suggest to change the 7 varchar() variables to nvarchar() to help the Insert operation be faster.
A third suggestion would be to create an identity integer column and make it clustered index. That will help with the many Inserts.
