More than one MQ pool for Sterling B2Bi adaptors

There is a bug in sterling B2Bi websphere mq pool code that means that if you have:

  1. multiple qm's (qm A, B, C) connected to the one sterling instance

  2. Then one adaptor cannot access one queue manager (e.g. qm A goes down)

  3. the whole MQ pool becomes locked waiting for a connection.

  4. Traffic destined for qm B and C will also queue up and process only when sterling eventually releases the lock on the pool caused by traffic to qm A.

Sterling integrator should be resilient in the case of a failure of one queue manager.

It may be a case of needing a configurable MQ pool for each adaptor or queue manager.

This will mean that DR testing should continue more seamlessly and allow opportunities for or partial or Zero outage deployments (instead of one queue manager making the whole system grind to a halt)


We can remove load balancers that are creating an illusion of the queue mangager's being online 100% of the time (costing us money) just prevent the mq pool from locking
