Hello RFE Community Memebers,
I would like to submit you a request for an enhancement regarding the maps implementation.
Currently, when using SQL Statement in a translation map, it is possible to have static queries only.
It means that we cannot have dynamic queries receiving parameter from the external (from a Business Process, for instance).
I think it would be very useful to have the possibility to write SQL Statements containing dynamic values (something like the question mark we use in the SQL statement in the Lightweight JDBC Adapter).ξ
A sample SQL SELECT could have one of the following format:
select COL1, COL2, COL3 from MY_TABLE where COL4=? and COL5=?
where the dynamic parameter could correspond toξ
Param1: '/ProcessData/Val1/text()' ξ ξ(XPath format)
Param2: '/ProcessData/Val2/text()' ξ ξ(XPath format)
This modification would improve the usage of maps and it would make them fully integrated with the Business Process environment.
Thanks for your job!
